1.The introduction of the chain guide:

 The chain guide is a static pressure guide, used to support and guide the chain, reduce chain friction, reduce noise, and enhance the service life of the chain.

2. The material of the chain guide

The traditional chain guide is made of steel. 
The main disadvantage is that the chain link plates and rollers on the sprocket cause severe wear.
In order to reduce friction, continuous lubrication is required. Now it is mainly processed from engineering plastics such as ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and polymer nylon.

3. Wear resistance Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene has better wear resistance than ordinary polyethylene.

4. Withstand high pressure shock Low water absorption, high toughness, high strength, strong loading capacity, uniform plate thickness, smooth surface, easy to clean.

5. Adaptable to the environment

It can withstand different high and low temperature environment, but also can withstand different degrees of acid and base.

UHMW-PE Description
UHMW-PE is a super engineering plastic that is probably not as well known as some other engineering plastics but can out perform its relatives in a number of important areas. 

UHMW-PE offers a combination of excellent properties outstanding abrasion resistance, superior impact resistance, non-sticking and self-lubricating properties and excellent mechanical properties, even in cryogenic conditions.

UHMW product reduces noise from impact & vibration. It is a self-lubricating material that is chemical, corrosion, and wear-resistant. And its food safe. The weight is light, the is 1/8 of the rolled steel. Lifespan is longer than steel. The wear resistance is 3 to 7 times than that of carbon steel and stainless steel.
